“Thankful” Harvest Sign

It’s fall y'all! That means that temperatures are starting to drop, which gets me in the mood to make fresh new harvest décor for my house! Dollar Tree's amazing selection of fall crafting supplies really makes it easy to get creative and still stay on budget. I was able to get everything I needed to make this wall hanging for under $10 and it looks like the same ones I have seen at some high-end stores! It even incorporates some of my favorite home décor trends…pumpkins, wooden beads, burlap, and vintage red trucks. This sign takes about 15 minutes to make so let’s get started!
Here Are the Supplies You Will Need:
- Crafter's Square® Natural Wood Plaque with Pumpkin Cutout
- 1 Roll of Lacey Burlap Ribbon
- Crafter's Square® Harvest Style Wire-Edge Ribbon
- Chenille Stems (to make the bow)
- 1 Pack of Wooden Plaid Pumpkins
- “Thankful” Metal Word
- Crafter's Square® Wooden Bead Garland
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
How to Make it:
- Hot glue the burlap ribbon down the middle of the wall hanging from end to end.
- Create a bow big enough to cover the pumpkin cut-out and the holes from the twine hanger. I used a chenille stem to start the bow — this helps make those big, beautiful loops.
- Hot glue the completed bow over the cut-out, then hot glue the pumpkins to the other end and the “Thankful” sign in the middle.
- Secure the wooden beads to the back of the sign with hot glue to make a new hanger.
It's that simple! This DIY turned out SO cute — I can't wait to reuse this idea for every season. I decided to hang my sign in a place where I will see it every day to remind me to be thankful for all of my blessings. Happy crafting!
